The other night I was feeling weird and creative and this kind of just fell out of my pen. It's a robot thing with a birdcage head and a bird skeleton inside. The cage is open, yet the bird didn't escape and died. Just a quick sketch.

I've noticed lately that a lot of my inspiration has come from jokes that my boyfriend and I make and elaborate into stories and then, naturally, drawings. This one is from me telling him that sometimes, I think his hair looks like Superman's. Then he said he would be "Skinny Man." I had to draw it. The key lime pie comment is pretty much what I think his catchphrase would be, considering his love for desserts. Turns out he's not so much a superhero as he is a guy who really likes pie and for some reason wears a Superman costume.

Kevin has written a rockin' story about one of Scrusher and Toast's many humanized lives that we have fabricated.

' Scrusher works at a post office licking envelopes to seal them. He doesn't get paid and no one knows he really works there, but he loves to lick so much that he doesn't mind. For lunch everyday at the post office he goes into the back yard and eats grass. He takes the bus home in the summer because he can't walk in the heat. In the winter he gets a ride from his roommate, Toast - who doesn't like him all that much - but deals with it because rent is cheaper that way. When he's at home, Scrusher makes his patented feces paper called "Scrusher Pooper" while Toast stares at his bone and growls.'
